Public utility vehicles (PUVs) will commence operation on the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) in the Philippines. This will provide an alternative to commuters travelling between Mactan Island and Cebu City. Approval for PUV routes has been submitted to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and is expected to be finalised within 2023.

Once approval is granted, CCLEX Corporation (CCLEC) will sign joint venture contracts with bus and jeepney operators for operation on the bridge.

Currently, only vehicles classified under classes 1 to 3 (private vehicles and trucks) are allowed to use the expressway.
