PSA Marine has introduced a Liquid Bulk module (LqB), as part of its ONEHANDSHAKE digital platform, which will enable players in the liquid bulk logistics chain to communicate and trade easily. LqB will provide customers with a personalized interface that will enable real-time monitoring capabilities for improved transparency, predictability and efficiency.
The implementation of LqB, is a part of PSA Marine’s partnership with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) in its initiatives to strengthen connectivity and inter-linkages within the sea transportation industry, as outlined in MPA’s Sea Transport Industry Transformation Map.
At the Port of Singapore, approximatly 48,000 liquid bulk tanker movements are observed and stakeholder groups depend heavily on labor-intensive transaction monitoring.
