Privasia Technology Bhd has appointed Datuk Azman Mahmud, as its new chairman. Azman succeeds Datuk Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi, who stepped down as Privasia chairman after being appointed to the board of directors of Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB).
Azman worked for the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in various capacities across numerous departments between 1989 and 2021. He has a wide range of experience and expertise, notably in the areas of smart automation and internet of things (IoT) services.
