According to Posco International, it has discovered a new offshore gas reservoir near Myanmar. The company had carried out drill stem testing for its Mahar gas project in January 2020. It has now decided to carry out assessment drilling from 2021, analyse the data for two years and come up with detailed plans to develop the new commercial gas field. Besides, the company is also going to carry out exploratory drilling for another project in AungMyin, near Mahar.
