The Government of Phuket has launched electric buses marking a shift toward eco-friendly public transport. The initiative is transformative, aimed at reducing traffic, air pollution, and enhancing tourism.
The trial involves 24 air-conditioned buses, with three currently operating between Saphan Hin and Central Phuket. Fares are THB15, free for specific groups. This initiative aligns with Phuket’s Smart City goals, improving accessibility and environmental sustainability.
