The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has commenced passenger service on the Terminal 2 of the Phu Bai International Airport. The new terminal will be able to cater to around 5 million passengers annually. Works on the USD97.75 million project commenced in 2019 and was funded by the ACV.
This is also the first terminal in Vietnam where the ACV has implemented digital transformation, upgrading its digital infrastructure and digitising operational processes. This has standardised operational procedures and increased passenger convenience.
