National Power Supply Public Company Limited (NPS) has successfully installed the first phase of a 60 MW floating solar power plant in Thailand. Electricity generation is scheduled to proceed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Meanwhile, work on the 90 MW phase 2 is currently ongoing and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2024. Once entirely operational, the 150 MW floating power plant is set to be the largest such facility in the world.
