The Philippines’ Department of Transportation (DOTr) has terminated the contract awarded to a consortium of BF Corporation and Foresight Development and Surveying Company for the construction of the Common Station Project in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

The contract has been terminated on the grounds of delays in the construction. Construction commenced in 2019 and the station was expected to be operational in 2022. DoTr proposes completing the project in public public-private partnership (PPP) mode. The Common Station Project is an upcoming transport hub offering interchange facilities for Manila Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and the upcoming Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7).
