PetroVietnam (PV GAS), in alignment with Prime Ministerial Directive No. 05/CT-TTg, has signed a contract with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to provide nearly 70,000 tons of liquified natural gas (LNG) for the Phu My 3 Thermal Power Plant between April and May 2024.
This move aims to contribute approximately 500 million kWh to the power grid during the dry season, highlighting PV GAS’s role in ensuring national energy security. This move is in line with PV GAS’s commitment to advancing green energy initiatives and fostering a transparent and sustainable LNG trading market in the country.
