Malaysia-based PETRONAS and Vietnam-based Petrovietnam are expanding cooperation in Vietnam’s energy sector, focusing on upstream and downstream activities, gas, and renewable energy.
The two nations are also working to enhance power grid connectivity under the ASEAN Power Grid initiative. Malaysia has invested in green energy projects, including wind energy in southern Vietnam, while the Gentari-Petrovietnam collaboration is expected to drive sustainable energy transitions.
