The Government of Pangasinan has approved PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC) 25 MW solar power project in the Philippines. Construction is set to start in January 2024 at a 25-hectare site in barangay Salomague Sur, with commercial operations scheduled to begin in Q4 2024.

The solar project aims to generate 41,000 MWh of power annually, which will reduce 29,056 metric tons of carbon emissions. Additionally, PGEC has previously acquired two solar projects in Nueva Ecija and another in Isabela.
