Pertamina has signed a cooperation agreement with PT Pelindo to develop the Jakarta Integrated Green Terminal (JIGT) in North Jakarta, Indonesia. JIGT will be able to accommodate a range of fuels including LNG, BBM, biodiesel, used cooking oil (UCO) as well as petrochemicals.

The terminal, located in Kalibaru, will complement the existing Plumpang Integrated Terminal which serves as a hub for petroleum infrastructure in Western Java.

JIGT’s location is strategically advantageous and has the potential to serve as a gateway point for the cross-border energy trade, particularly within the Singapore-Indonesia corridor. This corridor is responsible for approximately 30 per cent to 35 per cent of global trade in oil and LNG.
