State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina and Papua New Guinea’s National Petroleum Company have signed an MoU on their joint cooperation in the oil and gas sector. As a part of the MoU, the two companies will cooperate in conducting studies and explore partnerships in their respective countries. Pertamina is intensifying its efforts to acquire oil and gas blocks domestically and overseas as a part of its strategy to develop its upstream business.
