Malaysia’s Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Berhad has signed a contract with UK-headquartered KCA Deutag to provide drilling, management and maintenance services for the Perisai Pacific 101 jack-up rig. The rig, currently under construction in Singapore, is scheduled to be completed in July 2014. KCA Deutag’s drilling and maintenance crews will be involved in the later stages of construction, commissioning, and final testing.
