According to data compiled by Cambodia Airports, passenger traffic at Cambodia’s three airports grew by 12 per cent in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same period last year. Taking both international and domestic flights into consideration, the three airports handled 1.9 million passengers during the period. The Phnom Penh International Airport recorded 380,969 arrivals, a 15.2 per cent increase over the same period a year earlier, while the Siem Reap International Airport handled 538,581 passengers, a 9.3 per cent increase. Sihanoukville airport handled 30,693 passengers during the first three months of 2015.
