Australia-based Provaris Energy Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with France-based Total Eren to explore transportation of green hydrogen to Asia. The companies will work together to identify and assess green hydrogen projects currently developed by Total Eren that can use Provaris’ GH2 Carriers for bulk transport of compressed hydrogen. Provaris expects the partnership to help it deliver the first fleet of GH2 Carriers.

The partners will also study opportunities for bulk compressed hydrogen storage, using design concepts developed by Provaris for a floating storage.
