Partners to expand EV charging infrastructure in Malaysia

Sunway Group, Huawei Technologies Malaysia, and ChargeSini have partnered to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Malaysia. The three companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development and rollout of more EV charging stations at Sunway-owned premises, commercial buildings, and residences nationwide. 

ChargeSini will be responsible for procuring, installing, and managing the operation of these charging stations across Sunway’s integrated townships and developments, meanwhile, Huawei Malaysia will provide technology advice and after-sales support. The collaboration aligns with Malaysia’s national target of 10,000 EV charging stations by 2025, as outlined in the Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint (LCMB) 2021-2030.
