Gamuda Land has partnered with ENGIE Services to develop sustainable townships featuring solar PV rooftop systems and green transportation in the developer’s townships across Malaysia by 2024. Plans call for deployment in Gamuda Cove in Kuala Langat, Gamuda Gardens in Rawang, twentyfive7 in Kota Kemuning, all located in Selangor.
As per the agreement, the companies will explore and implement solar technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable transportation solutions in Gamuda Land’s townships.
The partnership is in compliance with Gamuda’s sustainability framework under the Gamuda Green Plan as per the ESG framework to reduce carbon emissions by 30 per cent by 2025 and 45 per cent by 2030.
