San Miguel Corporation and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) have formed a partnership for a tollway project connecting Cavite and Batangas in the Philippines. The new tollway will span 96 km, linking Cavite to Batangas and then to the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
The project will merge the two proposals for Cavite-Batangas Road submitted separately by the companies.
The process to acquire the necessary right-of-way (ROW) is expected to start by the end of 2023 or early 2024. The partners are aiming to deliver the toll way in 2028.
