Pang Kin Keong, former permanent secretary for home affairs, has been appointed chairman of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Council (NVPC), effective October 1, 2026. He succeeds Seah Chin Siong, who has served as chairman since January 2021.
Pang recently took over as chairman of the Land Transport Authority (LTA) board on September 1, following 35 years in Singapore’s public sector. He previously held senior appointments, including permanent secretary in the home affairs, law and transport ministries, and has led multi-agency initiatives across the public sector.
