Antina has awarded Nokia a contract for deploying 5G standalone (SA) RAN Sharing network in Singapore. Nokia will supply the necessary equipment to create a 3.5 GHz RAN as well as 5G base stations and radio access products.
The CloudRAN solution is intended to help Antina to meet new traffic demands, improve performance, effectively reduce costs and provide Antina with the flexibility to meet their customer ‘s 5G demands. As such, the new 5G SA network will allow Antina’s customers M1, StarHub and other mobile service providers to increase their cost efficiencies due to the network’s high speed and low latency.
