NGCP has sought the Energy Regulatory Commission’s approval for its PhP 833 million Calamba substation project. The project entails the construction of a new 230 kV substation and a transmission line extension from the existing Binan-Bay 230 kV line. The capacity of the proposed installation will be 600 MVA. Following regulatory approval, NGCP plans to complete the project by the first quarter of 2016.
