The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board has approved the addition of 23 projects to the list of infrastructure flagship projects (IFPs) to be prioritized under the current administration. Moreover, NEDA has also delisted 36 projects from the list of IFPs. With the new adjustment, there are now PHP9.14 trillion worth of projects under the program.
Previously, there were 198 IFPs with a total value of approximately P8.79 trillion. Details on the additional and delisted projects have not been released.
Currently, 74 IFPs are under implementation with 19 of these scheduled for completion in 2024. Of the remaining, 30 have been approved for implementation, 10 are awaiting government approval, and 83 are undergoing either project or pre-project preparation.
