NEC Corporation of Malaysia’s Service Provider Solution (SPSL) business unit has been named Cisco Service Provider Partner of the Year 2024, recognising its excellence in delivering integrated network and cybersecurity solutions across Malaysia. The award highlights SPSL’s expertise in integrating large-scale Cisco equipment and managing complex multi-vendor solutions.
Supported by NEC’s global Centre of Excellence, SPSL’s capabilities span Mass Scale Infrastructure (MSI), Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) integration, Multi-Vendor Integration (MVI), and 5G Security. NEC Malaysia also strengthened its managed services offering with the launch of the Intelligent Centre Operations of NEC (ICON) in Johor in March 2024, enhancing security and network operations nationwide.
The recognition comes as NEC Malaysia continues to align with national cybersecurity priorities, including the Cyber Security Act 2024 and the upcoming Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy 2025–2030.
