MyHSR Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyHSR Corp) has received concept proposals from seven local and international consortia for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail project (KL-Singapore HSR). The bidding process for the rail project ended on 15 January 2024. The winning bidder will be announced in March 2024.
The request for information (RFI) was launched in July 2023 which was followed by the submission of concept proposals to invite interested parties to deliver the project based on a public-private partnership initiative on the Design-Finance-Build-Operate-Transfer (DFBOT) model.
The 350-km-long HSR line between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore will reduce travel time to 90 minutes.
