Myanmar operator MPT has launched Phase II of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) internet roll-out plan. The company will now cover the whole of downtown Yangon, enabling customers to access its internet infrastructure. The townships with FTTH internet service are Pabedan, Latha, Lanmadaw, Sanchaung, Kyauktada, Mingalar Taung Nyunt, Botahtaung, Kyauk Myaung, Pazundaung, and Yuzana Plaza. MPT also plans to expand its FTTH internet network to other areas of Yangon, Mandalay, and the other regions.
