ManagePay Services Sdn, a subsidiary of Malaysia-based developer of fintech solutions Managepay Systems Bhd (MPay) has signed an agreement with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) to develop and implement a mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) super application (app) in Malaysia. The app will integrate the solutions of multiple transport, food delivery, and e-commerce service providers.
MPSB will develop, operate, and maintain the SuperApp, ensuring robust security and compliance with technical and regulatory standards. KTMB will support the integration of the app with its existing systems. KTMB will also assist MPSB in integration with service providers in KTMB Integrated Ticket System (KITS) Mobile Booking, Rail Rewards Loyalty programmes and its loyalty point redemption for the SuperApp users.
The duration of the agreement is five years. MPSB will launch a minimum viable product (MVP) within three months.
