UAE-based Elsewedy Electric has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT PLN (Persero) to enhance green, renewable, and smart infrastructure in Indonesia. The partnership will increase the country’s share of renewable energy (RE) by 75 per cent before 2040.
As per the MoU, the companies will establish a collaborative working group for executing the Joint Planning Session (JPS) agenda. The agenda includes the development of smart metre projects, RE projects, and the enhancement of RE technology.
