The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has announced plans to relocate the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) and the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) to the Krung Thep Abhiwat Central Terminal in Thailand.
Additionally, Mo Chit 2 is currently under upgrade and renovation work. The terminal will be equipped with a security system and passenger operations will commence in April 2025. Moreover, the construction works on Rama II Road are expected to be completed by June 2025.
