Malaysia-based Maxis Berhad announced that M. Lundan will be appointed CEO of the company, effective October 1, 2013. He will also be appointed to the board as an Executive Director.
Currently, Lundan is Group Chief Commercial Officer of the Vodafone Group, a post he has held since 2010. Prior to this position, he was Regional CEO of eight operating companies in Central Europe and Africa. Before joining Vodafone, he worked at the DiGi.com Berhad Group as CEO in 2004. He has also held various positions including CEO of the Internet Division and Telenor Business Solutions and Executive Vice-President for Corporate Strategy at Norway-based Telenor. Lundan has an MBA from IMD Lausanne and a master’s degree in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management.
