The Ministry of Transport has approved the new designs for two fast ferries which are expected to start service by the end of 2025 in Singapore. Strategic Marine was awarded a USD19.5 million contract in February 2024 to build these 550-passenger vessels.
The vessels will feature advanced technology and increased capacity. Further, an update on the introduction of digital media is expected to commence in May 2024.
