The first phase of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) in Sarawak, Malaysia will be operational by the end of 2027. This project is managed by Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), and is being developed at a cost of RM6 billion.

Phase 1 includes the Blue Line, Red Line, and Green Line, spanning 69.9 km and covering 35 stations. The Blue Line will connect Rembus to Stutong and will complete its first stage by the end of 2025 and the second stage will connect Stutong to Hikmah Exchange. The Red Line (Kuching Sentral-Pending) will commence operations in 2026. Meanwhile, the Green Line (Pending-Damai Central) will be operational by 2027.

The project features autonomous rapid transit (ART) on virtual tracks powered by hydrogen fuel cells, with speeds up to 70 km/hr. The first five ART units will arrive in October 2024, and there will be 38 units when fully operational.
