The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has announced plans to auction both 4G and 5G spectrums in the 2,300MHz – 2,400MHz band to operators in Vietnam. Interested companies have until April 19, 2023 to submit their application. Opening bids will start at around USD16.5 million.
Winning bidders will be awarded up to 30MHz of spectrum each, divided up as 2300MHz-2330MHz; 2330MHz-2360MHz; and 2360MHz-2390MHz. The licences will be valid for a period of 15 years.
