Mastercard has enabled contactless Tap & Go fare payments on select Delta NeoSolutions Inc. (DNS) point-to-point (P2P) buses in Metro Manila. The first route to adopt the open-loop payment system connects UP Town Centre in Quezon City and One Ayala in Makati City. The deployment allows commuters to pay directly using Mastercard credit, debit and prepaid cards, including via compatible digital wallets on NFC-enabled Android devices.

The system is powered by ADAPTIS, the open-loop payment platform of NTT DATA Payment Services Philippines Inc., which facilitates fare acceptance without the need for proprietary transit cards. Passengers can tap their card or supported device upon boarding, with transactions secured through Mastercard’s fraud protection and anti-skimming technologies. The service is expected to expand to additional DNS P2P routes.

The rollout builds on earlier contactless payment implementations across the Bonifacio Global City Bus network and MRT-3, supporting the Philippines’ broader transition toward a cashless and digitally integrated public transport system. DNS P2P services operate key commuter corridors across Metro Manila, serving daily passengers travelling between major residential, commercial and business districts.
