The Manila Water Company is planning to spend PHP 1.9 billion on the construction of a 12 km sewer network and relief line project that will benefit residents of Taguig, Makati, and other nearby cities. The Taguig North Sewer Network 3 Project is the first major sewer network system project to be built by Manila Water since it started implementing its Wastewater Master Plan. It will adopt a separate system approach in which domestic wastewater is collected via a dedicated sewer network. The project that has received approval from the National Capital Region-Regional Development Council would be able to treat up to 75 million litres of wastewater per day.
