Singaore-based M1 Limited (M1), Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), and SSI Solutions have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate 5G technology into Vietnam Maritime Corporation’s (VIMC) operations.
The partnership combines M1’s expertise in maritime 5G, VNPT’s network infrastructure, and SSI Solutions’ system integration capabilities. It aims to enhance operational efficiencies at VIMC’s ports through innovations such as tele-remote control of equipment, automated guided vehicle (AGV) operations, and advanced surveillance systems. This initiative builds on M1’s experience in deploying 5G for Singapore’s maritime sector.
