The Land Transport Authority (LTA) plans to widen Clementi Road between Bukit Timah Road and the Ayer Rajah Expressway to cater to increasing traffic. The project will also involve augmenting traffic junctions along Clementi Road and at Commonwealth Avenue West between Clementi Road and Clementi Avenue 6. The expansion work is expected to begin in early 2014 and be completed by early 2017. Bids are expected to be called soon.
