Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded four civil works contracts, worth a total of S$900 million, for the Thomson Line of the MRT. The contractors and projects are as follows:
- Singapore-based KTC Civil Engineering and Construction (S$114 million contract for the Orchard Boulevard station);
- Singapore-based companies Tiong Seng Contractor and Dongah Geological Engineering (S$252 million contract for the Great World station and associated tunnels);
- South Korea-based Daelim Industrial (S$240-million contract for the Outram Park station and associated tunnels); and
- China-based Shanghai Tunnel Engineering (S$294 million contract for the Shenton Way station and associated tunnels).
