The first phase of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) Cavite Extension in Metro Manila, the Philippines will commence commercial operations by the end of 2024. As of September 2023, Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has completed 94.1 per cent of the civil and system works on the line.

Physical works on the stations are underway with LRMC having completed 86.3 per cent of works on the Redemptorist Station, 86.9 per cent of the MIA Station, 72.9 per cent of the Asia World Station, 81.5 per cent of the Ninoy Aquino Station and 90.5 per cent of the Dr. Santos Station.

Phase 1 of the Cavite Extension project will extend the mainline by 6.7 km while adding five new stations. Phase 2 will add two stops at Las Piñas and Zapote Stations while Phase 3 will extend the line to Bacoor, Cavite.
