Vietnam Airlines Joint Stock Company has appointed Le Hong Ha as the new CEO with effect from January 1, 2021, to replace Duong Tri Thanh who retired on December 29, 2020 after almost five years at the helm. Ha began working for the airline in 1994 and has occupied several key positions since then. In 2015, he was appointed CEO of Vietnam Airlines subsidiary Jetstar Pacific (now Pacific Airlines), and has also served as chairman of the jet fuel supplier Skypec.
