The Iloilo provincial government has secured a PhP 451.2 million grant from the Korean International Cooperation Agency to rehabilitate and develop ports in the three northern towns that were hit the hardest by the typhoon in 2013. The activities will include the reconstruction of ports’ landing quays and causeways, along with berthing and servicing piers. Works at the Port of Concepcion are likely to begin first, as it is the least developed of the three beneficiary ports.
