The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) has announced the construction of 165 new telecommunication towers for broadband and 4G services in Malaysia. The towers will be constructed in two stages with 50 towers deployed in Hulu Rajang, 47 in Julau, 40 towers in Betong, 26 in Beaufort and two towers in Pasir Mas. Tenders for the tower projects will be issued within four weeks.
