Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company has signed a sales agreement with KIJSETTHI Mobility of Thailand to supply 1,000 Kim Long–branded buses for distribution in Thailand.
The contract covers multiple bus categories, including 12-metre buses (internal combustion engine and fully electric), 7.8-metre internal combustion buses, and 7.5-metre electric buses. The electric models are equipped with next-generation BYD battery systems produced at Kim Long Motor’s Hue Automotive Industrial Park, while the 12-metre ICE buses use YUCHAI K11 engines with fuel consumption of around 19–22 litres per 100 km. The buses have been designed to suit Thailand’s operating conditions, urban density, and route requirements.
All vehicles will be manufactured at Kim Long Motor’s Hue Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park, which operates automated production lines and digitally integrated management systems. The export programme is supported by the recently commissioned YUCHAI engine manufacturing plant at the complex, which has an annual capacity to supply engines for buses and next-generation commercial vehicles. The partnership supports Thailand’s push for cleaner and more efficient public transport and strengthens Vietnam’s position in the regional commercial vehicle supply chain.
