Huawei Digital Power has secured two major honours at the Asia Cloud & Datacenter Awards 2025, organised by w.media in Singapore. The company received the Sustainability in Design & Build award and the Innovation in Energy Optimization award, recognising its advances in power supply and thermal management solutions for artificial intelligence data centres (AIDCs).
The Sustainability in Design & Build award was conferred for Huawei’s PowerPOD solution, a hyper-converged power supply and distribution system designed for high-density AI data centres. The modular, factory-built approach reduces onsite construction, shortens time to market, and improves space and energy efficiency while enhancing system reliability through predictive maintenance and visualised management. PowerPOD has already been deployed in markets including Malaysia, Finland, and Norway.
Huawei Digital Power also won the Innovation in Energy Optimisation award for its Thermal Management Unit (TMU), a liquid cooling solution developed to address the rising power density of AI workloads. Featuring intelligent optimisation, advanced heat exchangers, and redundant power architecture, the TMU enables efficient, resilient, and uninterrupted cooling. Together, the awards highlight Huawei Digital Power’s role in shaping sustainable, high-performance digital infrastructure for the AI-driven data centre era.
