Japan-based KDDI Corporation, a telecom provider has invested in PT. Qlue Performa Indonesia, a smart city platform provider, with the goal of promoting digital transformation in Southeast Asia. Value of the contract has not been disclosed. KDDI will leverage Qlue’s smart city platform solutions to foster digital transformation in Southeast Asia. The investment was made through Open Innovation Fund No. 3, launched in April 2018 by KDDI.
Qlue, founded in 2016, provides a smart city platform that uses technologies like the internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence to identify, evaluate, and fix problems in Indonesian urban infrastructures.
