China National Electric Engineering Company Limited (CNEEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, is collaborating with Singapore-based Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) to oversee the construction of the first-phase of Singapore’s waste-to-energy facility.
The IWMF will aim to fulfil the country’s solid waste management demands and to maximise both energy and resource recovery in solid waste. When the construction works are completed, the plant will be Southeast Asia’s largest waste power plant.
