PT Jaklingko Indonesia, the manager of the integrated public transport ticketing system in Jakarta, has awarded Jatelindo, a consortium comprising Thales, Lyko, Jatelindo and Aino, an eight-year contract to launch and maintain a ticketing platform and a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) application for transit services in Jakarta.
The new MaaS platform is estimated to have over one million active users and support several million monthly trips. Lyko will supply the software and API framework to link the MaaS user interface to more than 2,000 transportation operators’ delivery systems and its intermodal trip scheduling algorithms.
