The Jacobs Engineering Group has won two contracts for the civil and structural designing of Jimah East Power Sendirian Berhad’s coal-fired power project in Port Dickson, 60 km south of Kuala Lumpur. The contracts were awarded by Hyundai Engineering Company Limited to provide engineering services for the balance of plant facilities and for the cooling water intake and discharge system. The project will be commissioned in two stages. in 2018 and 2019, and is expected to minimise greenhouse gas emissions.
