Singapore-based iSwitch Energy, a green electricity retailer, has announced that it will purchase 12 established charging stations from Finland-based PlugIT, a technology firm, to provide EV charger installation services to its current portfolio of over 50 Management Corporation Strata Titles (MCST), 10 shopping malls, 600 parking lots, and 8,000 residential units.
Both iSwitch and non-iSwitch customers will be able to use these charging stations. Additionally, iSwitch customers will be able to collect bonus loyalty points that can be applied to their monthly energy bill, leading to lower charging costs.
i Switch’s EV charging programme will assist the Government of Singapore to achieve its plan of installing 60,000 charging points across the nation by 2030. The programme will also complement iSwitch’s current sustainability solutions, which include carbon-neutral renewable energy, residential batteries and solar panel installation.
