Mikio Tsuku has been appointed as the new president of Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), succeeding Tetsuya Fujita. Tsukui brings over 30 years of experience from global assignments within the Isuzu Group, including stints in China, Europe, and Southeast Asia. His appointment comes as IPC focuses on strengthening its leadership in the truck market and expanding its light commercial vehicle (LCV) offerings.

Under Fujita’s leadership, IPC pursued initiatives around electrification, dealer network expansion, and lifestyle campaigns. Tsukui now aims to build on these efforts by maintaining IPC’s top position in the truck segment, growing the LCV portfolio, and enhancing nationwide customer support. His appointment follows IPC’s launch of the 2025 Isuzu mu-X, reflecting the company’s pivot to more modern, customer-oriented products.
